Trouble at ku again.

His case will probably get tied to the NCAA investigation into their FBI cheating case, so reprimands in about 20-30 years.

I just hope after spending 40 years in prison, his dad remembers to pick him up.

I honestly have no idea why Self brought him in. Its not like they're lacking talent.
Exactly. I don't really quite understand taking the risk on a guy with a history of mistreatment towards women when you almost quite literally can have anyone you want.

Honestly, it's something I have a hard time reconciling with college/pro sports. I get that teams just don't/won't care more about anything other than winning/$$$ but it's just depressing! You assault your girlfriend? You don't get a scholarship to a second school to go commit more crimes. There's still a whole world of real degrees/jobs out there for him.

He was suspended for the rape hours after entering a plea deal for an assault on an ex girlfriend. Would think maybe if that deal involved probation of some kind the new rape could maybe get that revoked? I’m still wondering why the dude that murdered his wife near Ottumwa got to pay $25,000 to walk around free for two years and then take off the ankle monitor and wander off before the jury came back.

What kind of repercussions does a school open themselves up to if they dismiss someone before they are found guilty of a charge. Not saying that is the case here.

Just that if someone is supposedly innocent until proven guilty, and they dismiss them when they are charged not convicted. If someone then is found guilty, could they go back on the school for their loss of reputation and possibly income from NIL and pro career.

I cant remember if the Duke Lacrosse team took legal action after they were found innocent. I could see even those with gambling charges having a case if they are found not guilty, although that may be against the NCAA for their rules and suspensions that the school is required to follow in those cases.

Not trying to say this guy is innocent, I just wonder what would happen if he or another person with similar charges was found innocent, and the school dismissed him for a crime he was found innocent of. Seems in this day of million dollar NIL deals and Multi Million pro contracts, it could become an issue at some point.

Yeah, I’m starting to think a (insert team) only dorm hosting high profile 18-20 year olds is a bad idea. No excuse for this behavior obviously but that type of situation breeds bad behavior.

Are you new here? Iowa state did this exact thing in this exact sport roughly 10 years ago.
