Anyone have any insight why he’s not getting more minutes? I saw him warm up but don’t even remember seeing him play tonight. He seems to be a huge missing piece to our inside game but his minutes are scattered. Defensive seems fine also not injured

Gotta be in the doghouse for some reason. I like his potential a lot, but he's been pulled repeatedly early in games for "mistakes" that get made by almost every player on the roster. I know he didn't play a minute, similar to Tre last game.Anyone have any insight why he’s not getting more minutes? I saw him warm up but don’t even remember seeing him play tonight. Yeah I would've liked to see hime take Bob's minutes. Love the guy but he gets absolutely swatted at the rim way too much for a big guy. But I also didn't think starting Kunc would do much so what the hell do I knowWith the lineup change I went into the game thinking they were trying to get more from TE coming off the bench. Like George has played better since RJ started over him.
To see him get 0 minutes today was surprising, to say the least.

People really think the problem right now is Enaruna not getting enough minutes? Lol.
I'll say he's one of the few players on the roster who are young and one of the few who doesn't appear completely overmatched athletically. If the team isn't going anywhere this season, it would benefit the program long term to let him play through mistakes and grow as a player.People really think the problem right now is Enaruna not getting enough minutes? I agree with that. Our problems go well beyond Enaruna at this point. I thought it was weird that he didn’t play at all today
I respectfully disagree with several of your comments. He is not young - he played two years at Kansas before coming here. In normal times he is a junior, and is listed as such in our roster. Hunter is young.I'll say he's one of the few players on the roster who are young and one of the few who doesn't appear completely overmatched athletically. I'm not gonna blast anybody, but Tristan is one of 3? total players who are underclassmen on the roster so I guess that's more what I meant by young.I respectfully disagree with several of your comments. I have always felt his athleticism has been overstated on this board. Compared to most players his height in this league, he no better jumper and is much weaker. He does not finish well in the paint and has shown no mid range game. I think the bottom line is he must get a lot tougher. There is a reason he is not at KU - and yes, I know they have a lot more talent than us, so minutes were hard to find.
I agree with him not playing yesterday. If he has talent he needs to get the message he needs to step up. Personally I think he started all year to try to build his confidence - appears it did not work. Jaz has had his ups and downs, but he stepped up yesterday. His 3rd foul was bad, and cost us a lot of his minutes.
By all indications he is a good kid. I still hope it works out for him. I think he needs a ton of time in the weight room.
This team needs shooters, and I am afraid only recruiting will solve that.
Go ahead and blast me.

Agree. He is typical European without the 3 range. Call it soft, weak whatever but an inside banger he is not. It is correct that for his height he is athletic but he is overmatched inside in the Big 12 where he could do things in the non-conference against players more his size. He is too tall and slow to guard an off guard but depending on the match up he can guard 3’s. Jazz is physically the same but much more aggressive for rebounds and can make 3’s. If he would get more aggressive he could really be an asset but at his age it is getting late for the light to go on.I respectfully disagree with several of your comments. Also most metrics say Enaruna has actually been pretty solid when he's played this year. His per/40 numbers have him second in rebounds, second in blocks, scoring wise he's about in line with Tyrese Hunter and is second on the team on FG% only to Conditt, and Enaruna shoots more than Conditt when he plays. I just think it's short sighted to not at least see what you have there.I respectfully disagree with several of your comments. He is not young - he played two years at Kansas before coming here. Your note made me look at the “official” roster.I'm not gonna blast anybody, but Tristan is one of 3? total players who are underclassmen on the roster so I guess that's more what I meant by young.
The extra COVID year is really throwing me off, thanks for actually doing this. Seems like there will be a lot of turnover again but that will entirety depending on guys deciding to use it or not. I get the feeling it will be a very interesting off-season again.Your note made me look at the “official” roster.
1 - freshman, Hunter
1 - sophomore, Walker
4- juniors, Tre, grill, Jones and Enaruna
5 - seniors
other 5 seniors are Tre King(?), IB, Conditt, Gabe and Jaz.
Of those seniors, it seemed to be expected that King, Gabe and Jaz would return.
There’s 3 players that we should be doing everything we can to keep happy: Hunter, Brockington, Enaruna. If we managed to get those 3 back next year with Tre King and a transfer shooter I would feel pretty darn good.
I agree ther than recruiting over JacksonMaybe the light bulb will go one for Enaruna with another off-season to work on his body and game. But if I look at our current roster and looking forward to next year, we have 2 players who would start on a team that would finish 1-4 in the Big12 Conference- Hunter and Brockington. I am hopeful that Tre King can be a quality Big12 starter. Most likely as a 4.
After those 3, the gap is pretty big. Kalscheur, Grill, Enaruna and Kunc are all too inconsistent or limited in their skill-set to start for an elite Big12 team. If they are hitting shots, they play 20 minutes. If not, they play 8 minutes.
Jackson, Walker and Jones are guys that ISU needs to recruit over for the 6-9 spots on the roster.
