Don't know if anyone follows it. I'm a casual fan at best. If someone wants to take the lead your more than welcome.

Stage 1: Rohan Dennis

Stage 2: daily Andre Greipal Overall F. Cancellara

Stage 3: daily Oliver Rodrigez Overall C. Froome

Stage 4: Tony Martin Both

There is an American hanging around in 3rd that supposedly has a shot at winning the whole thing ( Tee Garden spelling is probably wrong)

Crazy start. The Holland weather in Stage 2, the big crash(es) in Stage 3, and the cobbles in Stage 4.

I love the tour and watch every year... I know there is still doping going on, but no where near the Lance levels of yesterday. Love the sprint finishes. Love the mountain stages. Wiry little bastards really have to leave it out there for 3 weeks straight.

I watch too, but really tune in for the mountain stages (rarely watch the time trials and "flatter" stages). That stuff is crazy. Watching some of them just shut down, while others push through it is amazing, even with doping.

Love the tour, sad I missed the cobbles today. Once they get in the mountains, it gets exciting.

Tejay is looking solid sitting in 3rd, but really 2nd as Tony Martin isn't a GC contender. He's poised to improve on his previous 5th place finish last year. Froome looks tough again and my money would be on him, but it would be so cool if Tejay is able to podium. Long race and as we saw a couple of days ago and years past, anything can happen with the crashes.

I know there is still doping going on.
Tour conversations have the requisite "doping" diversion to this day. I was recently blasted for calling Armstrong a "cheater" for being caught blood doping. The reply I got from a self-proclaimed biking expert was they all did it. Did all bikers cheat with doping? I think that was a contentious issue among bikers was some did not dope and were furious with Armstrong wins aided by doping. Sadly, given the chance Lance admitted his will to win and never quit attitude would cause him, if it were 1995 again, to dope. http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2015/07/07/lance-armstrong-trolls-the-tour-de-france.html

I love watching the cobble stages. I can't imagine being jarred around for that long on those things. The mountains just make my legs hurt watching.

I would love to see an American podium legit. Did Lance dope the year he made his comeback and didn't do anything? Just curious if that was the real Lance the whole time. He looked like trash in the mountains.

Stage 6
overall T. Martin but he crashed at finished and may withdraw.
Daily Z. Stybar

If anyone can find the crash and post it. Thanks in advance.

A lot of guys didn't dope. What did they have in common? Unemployment.
