Toughest Football Conference for 2020

I think Okie State will get to double digit wins this year and then Gundy will finally bounce.

I won't discount KU under Les Miles and ISU was pretty fortunate to escape them in Ames last season.

oSu should be very strong with quality at QB (Sanders), running back (Hubbard), and wide receivers (Wallace and Stoner). Texas is always overrated but I really like Sam at QB. OU quality is to be determined at QB but he has a nasty name (Spencer Rattler). Of course, Purdy is a media darling along with his coach. Those are my four favorites. We'll see. If Ku wins a conference game it will be an upset.

KU will still have major deficiencies at OL and DL which is where they will lose games.

Ku doesn't have a quarterback to match any other team, even the worst, in this conference. They'll be horrible again. Mike Lee was the heartbeat of their defense and he graduated.

I can see this being a year where the Big 12 misses out on the CFP. Hard to see anyone going undefeated in our conference, whereas you know Clemson will, you know Ohio State should and then of course the only-play-8-games SEC will get the usual consideration of its top 2 teams. We will know a lot more after September 12 when Ohio State plays at Oregon. If Oregon loses, then I suspect the CFP teams are pretty much decided except for knowing which SEC teams will get picked, Alabama, Georgia or LSU.

Actually, if Minny stays competitive at least you have three teams (out of seven) over .500. A slight improvement over prior years.

Lets hope NDSU never joins whatever conference we are in. Getting beat by them is one thing, getting slaughtered by them is another.
