Top 5 Songs

As of today:

Faces: Stay With Me
David Bowie: The Jean Genie
Mumford & Sons: I Will Wait
Elvis Costello: Pump it Up
Greg Allman: I'm No Angel

I absolutely love that Mumford song. I completely forgot about Elvis Costello. Not my top 5 but I can’t count how many times I’ve listened to the album My Aim Is True. I just switched it on.

When the Levee Breaks
On the turning away Pink Floyd
Fade to black Metallica
Celebrate Dirty heads
Simple Man

Bonus

What the Hell have I. Alice Inchains
Down in a hole AIC
rooster Alice In Chains

The Red Rocks version of IWW is incredible.

I've always loved Elvis Costello's vibe. Love that "sound" of his.

Nutshell by AIC just missed my list. The foreshadowing of his demise is crazy. Their MTV unplugged album is bomb.com.

My list is surprisingly short of grunge music considering it’s the best era of all time.

Those three songs just happen to be the three I have been listening to a lot lately. Next month none of them will be my top three AIC songs and will be three other songs. Nutshell will be up there.

Let's Go Crazy - Prince
Fake Plastic Trees - Radiohead
Dance Now - JID
m.A.A.d City - Kendrick
Master of Puppets - Metallica

Don't know if that's a true top 5, my memory sucks, but these came to mind.

One of my favorite albums of all time is Sparkle and Fade by Everclear but no individual song makes the cut.

Beatles - Hey Jude
Phil Collins - Something in the Air Tonight
Jackson Browne - Running on Empty
John Lennon - Give Peace a Chance
Mason Proffit - Eugene Pratt

Another vote for Running On Empty. Niiiiice.
