If you are running an NFL team, name the top 3 guys you'd have in charge.

1. Belicheck
2a. Reid
2b. Fisher

IMO Shanny and Holgren are the only other guys in the conversation, but frankly I feel bad for Fisher. If he had more say in player personnel, he may have have a ring. As far as game day goes, he is on par w/ the other two. He does the most w/ the least in the league.

Reid would be nothing without his D Coordinator Jim Johnson...so I would take quite a few guys before him. But Belichick is a lock a #1 no matter who is under him. even Mangenius (doesn't seem like much of one anymore.)

Honestly, I think I would take Holmgren, Tony Dungy, and probably Belicheck (begrudgingly :) ). I know Dungy isn't perfect, but he is the reason Tampa Bay was good, just couldn't get over the hump.

If I was an owner Id take Reid. I dont wanna deal with Bellichek. Anymore, if you can last more than 5-6 years with your team, you are a pretty good coach.

There are a lot of head coaches I like. Ignoring the inherently evil Beeeel Beeeelicheck, and my guy Dungy, I'd trust Mike Shanahan, Andy Reid and Jeff Fisher.

1. Shannahan
2. Dungy
3. Belichek
4. Wade Phillips - Not necessarily coaching wise, but after seeing Hard Knocks I like how he runs his team.
5. Reid

Really it comes down to 1 guy for me though, Shannahan. I'd pick him 10 times out of 10 over anyone else, yes I'm biased being a Broncos fan, but I believe he's the best.

IMO Mike McCarthy has to be sneaking up into the top 10 if not the top 5. He is 23-11 so far in his career and that is with the youngest NFL roster for the 3rd year in a row.

Also, not many people realize but the Packers are 19-3 in their last 22 regular season games.
