I couldn't find this on the forum so I assume it hasn't been brought up yet.

ESPNU is doing a top 25 games of 2011 countdown over the next week or so. In trying to find the full list of games I couldn't find anything, but I did find an Alabama site explaining when their games would be replayed and the last paragraph read along the lines of..

"Another game that could be worth a watch for Tide fans: Iowa State's stunning upset of Oklahoma State."

We're ranked 11th and will air on ESPNU Friday the 13th at 8:30(eastern time I assume). Personally I think we should be ranked higher than 11, but hey, I'm biased.

That top 5 is pretty ridiculous. Definitely think we should have at least cracked the top ten. Oh well I guess.

Don't know if this is any help but ESPNU is replaying the Iowa State vs. Oklahoma game on the 14th I believe. Not sure if it is part of the top 25 series though

From the way it looks ESPNU airs the game during the day or evening under the title of "Top 25 College Football Games of 2011" and then replays them later in the night (early morning hours) as their actual title. Ex: Iowa State vs Oklahoma State. Whether or not this makes a difference to anyone I don't know.

Their list is a joke. The alamo bowl game with over 100 points is 24? We are 11? Our upset shook up the up the BCS and should easily be in the top 5.

Someone please post the list?

I would if I could but I'm on mobile, the site has been acting up for me on the browser. Randomly can't access pages. Dumb..

But if you go to ESPN's college football page there's a link on the right a little ways from the top. May half to scroll a tad to find it. It's as far right as it could be though.

dvr is set

2nd one in the bunch here DVR'ing it...not trying to rag on you guys. Perhaps you guys didn't have DVR last fall, or the kids accidentally erased it but....

Seems after a big Cyclone win there's always a decent amount of people here clamoring to watch it again. Do people not plan to DVR each and every game ahead of time? I don't get it.

Usually when we DVR a big game they usually lose... And when we don't DVR the game they win a game they arent supposed too (Nebraska, Texas, Okie State). I did DVR the reairing of the game that night and had multiple games DVR'd but our DVR hard drive fried during the storms that came through a couple weeks ago and lost everything... So now I'm going to DVR the game again this friday. That;s my cool story bro moment of the day.

OU vs Florida State was less worthy than Missouri vs Arizona State? WTF

I'm pretty much in the same boat. Every time I DVR a game, we get rocked. When I don't, we win. I'll take the tradeoff. In this case, I have the last two minutes of the fourth quarter and all of Overtime on my DVR, which is really all I need of that game.

ISU AD sells DVD copies of the game for like $25. Seems a little expensive, but then you have a permanent copy that isn't reliant on the reliability of a DVR. Plus the money supports the AD.

I watched the ISU/OSU game again on the night of July 4th. The whole game is great to watch, especially when you see us giving Weeden some four-and-outs and controlling time of possession. I also like hearing the announcers say "there's something special in the air," even when we are down 24-7! Indeed!
