Tommy Mister: Athlete of the week

Should this part make us nervous at all?

"Right now, I feel like I could play quarterback at the next level.”

Hopefully I'm just reading too far into this but if he keeps improving at QB and somebody swoops in with an offer to play at QB, any chance he would bite?

Yes.

We have to keep recruiting dual-threat types even if we planned on using him at RB....I think we cross that bridge when we get to it. Maybe we have another QB competition next year. It's a good problem to have.

Get him here as a qb then. A 4 year Seneca Wallace!

If he proves that he can play QB at the next level, I am sure Rhoads would offer him the chance.

No, but a 28-20 home opening loss to a FCS team should make us nervous about all our recruits. We've all lived through these ups and downs but this is the scariest part to me, as we've never had a recruiting class looking like this at this point in the year.

Maybe, maybe not. It depends on the rest of the season. 0-12 will hurt recruiting no doubt. But rather than say that is what will happen, I will just let these guys play.

A 6-2 210 lb fast & athletic running back is exactly what this team needs. I excited for this kid, hoping he stays committed to the good guys.

Add 9 lbs on him and you have a David Johnson on your hands. I like.

If he redshirts next season at QB, Sam will be a Senior, Rohach a Junior, Lanning and Hodge will be Sophomores by the time Mister could play. We'd have a competition of when he was a Sophomore. QB might not be that bad of a move for him here. We don't know how the QB talent will pan out. Lanning or Hodge could move to a different position. It would probably work out of the RB group. Nealy and Standard would be Seniors and I think there is a player or two redshirting this year. We wouldn't have the glut of RBs that we do this year and might be a hindrance to the position because of lack of carries.

Why? It's one game.

You can't have too many QB's on your roster when you have our OL and Mess as the playcaller. Just ask Sam Richardson.
