Good documentary. I couldn't bring myself to feel sorry for the guy. Even if your dad pushes you growing up I can't feel sorry for a guy who had all of the ability and promise in the world and threw it away.

great show

i don't think he wants anyone to feel sorry for him

Yah, I was glad to see he still had a relationship with his dad. It would have been easy for him to blame everything on his Dad, and he didn't. Maybe he wasn't asking for anyone to feel sorry for him, but that doesn't mean as a viewer you don't have the overwhelming of feeling of "what an absolute waste."

I really enjoyed it. Though I remember watching him play, I was not aware of the whole scenario. For people to say that since he had a great deal with the free education and football at Southern Cal that you could "never feel sorry for him" is so in humane. Its as if the $'s the athlestes are paid is a free ticket to ridicule them. People act like these kids are terrible people if they can't handle the spotlight at an early age. I can't imagine what that intense publicity is like.

I really felt for Todd in this documentary knowing that he wasn't blaming anybody for his failures, he just wanted to be seen as a human and not a robot. Hopefully he continues on the path he's on and enjoys his life.
