Unite by accepting that G-Mac is going to be coaching Iowa State next year. Unite by stopping the bickering over the same tired points day in and day out. Unite meaning, giving the rhetoric a rest.
Unite by cheering for Iowa State, not because you like the coach, but because you love ISU.
Do any of these things.
My point is that "uniting" as a fan base doesn't do much of anything. We "unite" when we sit in our seats, not sing kum-bah-yah on a message board.
I have a good friend who "accepts" Gmac, cheers for ISU, and is always positive. Oh, yeah, he only buys the $99 season tix for men's bb and doesn't donate either.
The key word is passion. That's what drives revenue, and success. And with passion come questions (lotsa good ones) when the bb program is awful like this one is.
