Just because I'm annoyed about people thinking they know more than the coaches doesn't mean I'm not happy about the win. I'm pumped about the win and happy Tiller got a chance to play, but good god, can people please shut up about Tiller now. Arnaud is clearly our best chance at winning.

But Arnaud and Tiller have spent the same amount of time being coached by this staff, learning their techinques and system. Arnaud has had three quarterback coaches and three offensive coordinators. Tiller has had two, and will hopefully have no more before he graduates. How good would you be at your job if every two years your boss decided he wanted you to do it differently?

No coach has had a chance to coach ANYONE on this team for more than two years. Even the guys who are seniors are essentially sophomores in the current staff's system.
 
Tron Smith definitely is not Herky Killer. Tron chooses his words much more carefully. He also happens to be quite intelligent.

Actually yes i did. I posted how i thought Arnaud sucks. and I got hammerd for it. Believe me I didnt want to be right but any idiot who watched games last year could see this coming. I never once believed Arnuad was good or had gotten better. if any thing he still sucks and everyone else got worse.
 
Can I just say Tiller and Arnaud can't throw the football? Would anyone disagree to that?

I thought he really embiggened the role of quarterback with his perfectly cromulent performance.

In all seriousness I thought he did decent in relief. His passes have no touch that's for sure, but his decision making under duress was better than AA. After this week I say Arnaud is clearly a better quarterback right now, but as a decision maker I'm not sure. The real difference to me was the quickness in the decision making on the run. Tiller is a full second slower than AA. Jerome also needs to put on 20 lbs or otherwise Big 12 defenses will snap him in half. I didn't see Capello in there, how'd he do?

Like I've been saying, be careful for what you wish for. Some of you wanted Tiller and it showed just how even more anemic the offense becomes and how vanilla it has to be for him.

Thankful for the defense, otherwise we'd be 1-3.

Unbelievable, really. Tiller has a less than mediocre night against a better-than-average FCS team and some people are convinced he's the second-coming. If Arnaud were to have had that kind of night people some people would have begun greasing up the guillotines for our coaches' heads.

It could be understandable for a sophomore. Not so much for a red-shirt senior...

Agree 100%. We do not have a capable QB at this point (Capello clearly isn't ready to be handed the reigns - who knows whether he'll ever be ready). Yet, for some reason, Tiller has a less than mediocre night and a few vocal idiots are proclaiming "SEE! We should have done this WEEKS ago!" :rolleyes:

Well you saw something coming that the rest of the fanbase didn't!! When CPR says AA is the most improved player on the roster I had to believe him and buy into the hype of the so-called "explosive offense!"

Keep in mind Capello's parents are on the boards now! Also he's just a red-shirt freshman give the kid a break! You cant analyze him this early!
