Because all teams have a primary logo along with alternates. This "poll" is ranking the primary logos only. Also cool to look at the marketing directives each university has in place for utilizing the logo and school colors, they're much more in-depth than I ever though they'd be. I'll try to find it really quick.

I always figured the point of the logo of any school, was that when opposing fans saw it, they would immediately know, which school it represents.
Not a fan of the Iowa logo, but it does do what its intended to do. I cannot say the same about our current I State logo, as much as I like it. Are you representing Iowa State, Illinois State, Indiana State, or Idaho State?

I thought we had that with this logo, and then we allow the next coach/AD to come in and change everything.

I think the UofI tigerhawk head, the K-State purple kitty head and the Washington State cougar head are all incredibly ugly and dated. JMHO though.

True, but isn't the point of a logo, for anyone that knows sports, to quickly look at it, and know which team you are representing? Since that is the case, I would say the I State logo is not doing its job. And I like the I State logo.
