They sleep through the first half. They are absolutely dominant down low all game long yet we settle for 3's down the stretch on 3-16 shooting. If they could lock down on the 3 point threat and keep feeding the post we win by 10 easily. Very frustrating to watch.

For the most part, they haven't been bad shots. They just aren't going in.

You must be watching another team. UNI is a mediocre Valley team and Iowa State makes them look like a bunch of All Americans with our defense or lack thereof.

Sorry man, I'm not interested in or dumb enough to believe that we just walk every team we play.

Yep. This team is definitely this good as there are always stretches where ISU looks like one of the best teams in the nation then pisses down their leg. Our team is incredibly immature and doesn't have that killer instinct.

Because they are open. Outside of Nader, I don't know if I care if any of them take open threes.

I do when McKay and Niang are virtually unstoppable. Jespersen killed us and he should have been fouled out long before.

I'd maybe half agree with this but they've taken a number of bad 3 point shots in most games. For example - someone shoots a 3 pointer down 2 points but ISU gets the offensive rebound. Then without setting and being guarded by 2 guys, they take another 3 with 25 seconds on the shot clock left without a single pass. That's happened in every game more than just once, unfortunately. But again, I'd half agree.

We are UNI's ***** and the excuses are annoying. This isn't a horrible loss, but not a good one either. I just can't believe our basketball team has only won once against UNI since 2005.

I do, if they consistently miss! We were something like 13% from the 3-point line tonight. If JUST ONE of those 3-point misses had been a toss inside to McKay, we may have won.
