I don't know how many of you hung around Sunday to see the Chiefs but as a Chiefs fan I am really concerned about the sad state of this team right now. I think they could realistically be the close to the Lions of last season. Cassel looks very average at best, the play calling was very questionable, and the defense likes to give up big plays. I don't understand how Haley was tabbed and offensive genious when several times on 3rd and long they didn't even throw the ball near or past the 1st down marker.

The stadium was 1/2 empty by the 4th quarter and the best action we saw all day were 2 fights in the stands. There were even 4 guys in our section with grocery bags over their heads. Hope Pioli and Haley know what they are doing because the Chiefs fans are usually a loyal and proud group and when you hear boo birds and people leaving early that does not look good at all. I even heard some people calling for Croyle!

I was at the game too and left at the beginning of the 4th quarter because I wanted to get out of town quickly. I'm not a chiefs fan by any means but I was appalled at their inability to put ANY pressure on Manning - it might as well have been ISU's Dline with the pass rush.

That game could have been so much uglier had Manningham not bobbled that long catch in the first period and got tackled at the 20 instead of taking it to the house.

Don't worry, the Cowboys are coming into town. My faith in this Wade-led (ugh) team is not high - and I said it long before this season started.

Dallas will mop the field with them, trust me. Any team that has a competent QB and a WR to throw to will have all day to sit in the pocket with the lack of pass rush plus the 3-4 hasn't done a good job stopping the run either. Giants averaged 4.7 yards a carry too. I mean if JaMarcus Russell can orchestrate a 69 yard game winning drive after only completing just 3 passes all game before that, pretty sure Romo will have no problem against that defense.

Dallas offense at arrowhead.....will bulldoze the line ...and strike from the air...playing Romo and the Dallas Defense this week

The Chiefs have had some lean years lately but this is an extremely low point for the franchise. I honestly have zero desire to watch them the rest of the season and I am a fan that would usually go watch them at a restaurant or something if they weren't on TV.

I am personally just very frustrated with management right now. It seems like this team and the guys in charge have no clue what they are doing and have no vision for the future. Say what you want about Herm Edwards (and I probably have) but it was apparent what his goals were for the team and the direction he was taking the franchise. He has lead the Jets to the playoffs before (and just getting back there would be a good step for the Chiefs) and he knows how to build a team. When Herm started a few years ago he completely blew the team up to start over. Now they are completely blowing the team up AGAIN, cutting anybody that appears to rub them the wrong way, firing O-coordinators 1 week before the season, start a right tackle they picked up 1 week before the regular season, etc. This team seems rudderless and while I will continue to root for them I'm not going out of my way this season in the least.

I literally fell asleep on the couch two weeks ago in the first quarter and missed 3/4 of the Eagles game. I have a huge why bother attitude about the Chefs. They are flipping terrible, have been terrible, and I have no clue if there is any end in sight.

Unfortunately the program director at KCCI usually loves to show Chiefs games. So unless you have Sunday Ticket, you'll get to see these Chiefs ugly & often.

This is just not true. The Chiefs were on Central Iowa TV a total of five times last year and not at all after Week 8.

So far this year, they've been on twice in five games (two of their games could have been on KDSM, but online voting gave us thrillingly craptacular Vikings games instead).

How wrong a lot of these posts are is just hilarious. Lot of friends today who say are NFL fans need to learn their throwbacks and history.

Btw - F fox and their NFL rules that allow you to show a boring game that was never close, give ppl hope of a good game but cut out in the last 20 seconds and not show OT. Just dumb.

I don't get this either.

I've listened to Len Dawson for 20 years. Never have I heard him so disgusted. He was muttering plenty under his breath today.
