wow, now he can join that pantheon of A-listers who've been targeted for a Comedy Central roast whose members include Bob Saget, Joan Rivers, Flavor Flav, and David Hasselhoff.

I think that you're just jealous that Flavor Flav's Chicken closed before you had a chance to make the drive to Clinton to get some for yourself.
Its funny that list forgets Donald Trump, Drew Carey, Rob Reiner, Chevy Chase, Denis Leary, William Shatner, Hugh Hefner, Jerry Stiller, Jeff Foxworthy, etc. It's not always just the losers of tv.

I just think the whole saga is funny. This guy wizzed away the world. Not long ago, many saw him as someone to be emulated, a guy with the number one tv show in the country leading the ultimate bachelor life. Now, a short 6 months later, he's just an old drunk with no goddesses, few prospects, running out of money, and bad teeth. How many people still want to be Charlie Sheen, now? A lot fewer than before. His schtick got stale.

Several of those listed are not Comedy Central Roasts. They are NY Fyars Club roasts. Different deal. Fryars club roasts are a long time tradition. Comedy Central Club roasts? not so much.

I watched a little bit of one roast (I think Donald Trump) and they seemed to spend more time insulting the other roasters than the actual roastee (is that a word?)
its going to air the same night as 2 and 1/2 men season premiere. Be interesting to see who gets the bigger ratings.
Well, Jeffrey Ross is the Friar's Club roastmaster. But you can keep being argumentative for whatever reason. The whole point of the Comedy Central roasts is to roast people who aren't exactly at the top of their game.

that's my point. This was a guy who had the number 1 show on television 6 months ago. After he was canned, he made numerous claims about all the big time deals he was working on, getting his own talk show, getting his old job back, etc. After all that bluster and bravado, he ends up as the butt of his own joke. I think it's funny.
