:notworthy: They are running for the hills. All the car flags are down, the ugly orange and blue clothes are relegated to the closet, and their undeserved arrogance has left the building. If our rivalry was a real war, a white flag of surrender would be waiving. Usually they wait until the guy loses one game to turn on him like a pack of wolves but they have started the party early. They are calling sports radio shows saying they may give up their tickets (that will really help recruiting). They kicked us while we were down in recent years but now they know that they will be owned for a long time. That 36-0 beating from this year opened their eyes & now this.

Iowa State has done more for the Crimson Tide than we can ever repay. You just have to live here to understand.

Since we helped you out, what can you do for us about Iowa?

I wish that we could tell you that we had something to do with it, but we are as stunned as you are. Just do us all a favor, keep trouncing them badly!

If Bama wants to help us out to repay us for letting AU have GC:
1. Give us a little of that mountain of cash that Bama sits on so we can get us a good coach.
2. Have Saban shoot us his recruits that are not quite ready for Bama football.

No thanks needed from the Crimson Tide faithful. We are the ones who owe the Administration and boosters at Auburn a big thank you. Thank you for taking a defensive coordinator in over his head so far that he couldn't even get his guys to signal in the plays before the play clock expired. When you have to take a timeout due to confusion about the play call and then come out of the timeout and take a delay of game penalty with a 40 second play clock it screams of incompetance from a coaching staff and particularly the guy in charge of managing the game, the head coach. Gene Chizik is a walking disaster as a head coach.

An Iowa fan didn't go to Iowa, loves their school when they're winning and act like they're not associated with the school when they're losing. They have this sense of entitlement as if they deserve the success of the school.
