Dear Cyclone Fans,
As we turn the calendar to 2019, I want to take a moment and simply say ‘thank you’ for your incredible support during the past football season.
Coach Campbell, his staff, and our student-athletes, deserve much of the credit for achieving one of the most successful seasons in Cyclone football history. They have clearly established a foundation that will support an even brighter future in 2019 and beyond. However, this year’s success and the foundation now in place would not have been possible without your personal support and investment. Countless Cyclone fans have “trusted the process” for a very long time. The good news is the “process is now loving you back”!
As I told many people last week in San Antonio – the best part of the bowl trip was simply seeing so many Cyclone fans with a well-deserved smile on their face. It was an awesome sight to see.
I want to thank all of the fans who purchased tickets and traveled to the Valero Alamo Bowl. Your support is second-to-none! Here are several noteworthy statistics from our trip to San Antonio:
I look forward to seeing you at our events this winter and spring.
Go Cyclones!

I want to thank all of the fans who purchased tickets and traveled to the Valero Alamo Bowl. Your support is second-to-none! Here are several noteworthy statistics from our trip to San Antonio:
- The attendance for the Valero Alamo Bowl was 60,675. That is the second-largest crowd ever to watch an Alamo Bowl between two out of state teams.
- Only one other school (Notre Dame/Cotton Bowl) purchased more institutional bowl travel packages this year than Iowa State.
- We sold more institutional travel packages than any school has ever sold for a non-CFP Six bowl game.
I look forward to seeing you at our events this winter and spring.
Go Cyclones!
