Clone fans may be interested in what Texas coach, Gail Goestenkors, had to say in the New York Times Sports section on Sunday prior to losing to ISU:
Goestenkors said that she underestimated the strength of the Big 12 before arriving [from Duke]. The league has six ranked teams in the latest poll, the most of any conference. "I knew how good it was at the top," she said. "I didn't know how good it was from the top to the bottom. In the ACC, we knew there were teams you were absolutely going to beat unless you didn't show up. There's no night off here."

Simple but too the point - u can't let up with the ladies in the B12 or they will finish you off when you least expect it.

yeah I caught that article. I think GC was in for a little bit of surprise coming to the Big 12. I think she thought it was going to be easier to recruit, easier to win, and found out fast the level of competition is tough. She even admitted in the article that Duke was easier to recruit to. But watch out, she is one hell of a coach, that adds to a league full of premiere coaches. And we got the Dean!!!!

Yes, she is a good coach, and here is an irony for you: her first job out of college was at ISU. According to an online bio, she worked here for one year, 1985, before moving on to Duke and then Texas.
