He had his team well prepared. Their perimiter defense was the best defense I have seen all year on our guards. Scotty couldn't even get a shot off, and we all know how important Scotty is to our offense. The other things is he kept telling his team to go to the basket and that was the difference in the game, they were aggresive going to the basket (free throws) and ISU relied too much on the perimiter 3 pointer once again. I firmly belive with 1/2 as much talent, no bench and very little fan support they stole one from the Cyclones!

Although I don't disagree, admitting that Rick Barnes knows how to coach make me want to vomit. I can't do it.

This loss is more of ISU beating ISU than Texas beating ISU. Good thing, is that it's fixable. Hopefully.

We scored most of our points in transition, especially early in the 2nd half. That little point guard they have is lighting quick, hoepfully he will not be around very long. He's so explosive!

He had his reffing well prepared. Their perimiter defense calls were the best no calls I have seen all year. Scotty couldn't even get a shot off without getting fouled, and we all know how important Scotty is to our offense. The other things is he kept telling his team to go to the basket to get the calls and that was the difference in the game, they were aggresive going to the basket (free throws) and ISU relied too much on the perimiter 3 pointer once again and turned it over every other possession. I firmly belive with 1/2 as much talent, no bench and very little fan support, the refs and ISU's turnovers stole one from the Cyclones!

Texas had more to play for tonight and that was obvious. Every loose ball, rebound, or hustle-based play went there way. Give them some credit they played hard because they wanted it more, but they performance by our guys tonight was flat out pitiful. A lot to clean up before next week and now hopefully there is some fire and intensity to how the guys come out. Frustrating night.
