Terrence Lewis Article

I'm curious what he's like to not be coachable as I've never gotten the impression that that was the case.

More time on the court is needed for that confidence, for sure.

I am glad he seems to realize this is his last, best chance at a serious future playing basketball. The guy has all the tools, and there is a legitimate starting spot open for him next season (even if Bolton is eligible) if he puts everything together on the court.

Matt Thomas went from the whipping post on this forum for two years into an all-conference level guy who is about to get paid in the NBA after getting paid and winning championships in Europe. TLew having the same career trajectory would be awesome.

I'm really pulling for this guy; not only do we need deep-shooting threats for the 2019--20 team, but also he's been a good guy and teammate.
I'm hoping Coach Prohm can do for him when he did to help Matt Thomas get out of his Soph slump and into a confident, consistent shooter.

Looking completely lost in real games for the most part.

Yeah. There have been a few times where he's looked like maybe the game is too big for him at this level. But there's still an opportunity for him if he can figure it out. His last and best chance to become a regular contributor is right around the corner.

Yeah, hoping for the best but he got no run in what you knew were going to be grind it out games.

We'll see. Not everyone is ready to play as a freshman or even a sophomore. I'm hoping the light comes on for him this summer and he's out there shooting and playing with confidence next season. I'll take talent wherever Prohm can find it but I have a soft spot for the four year and developmental guys.

I get your point about trajectory, but even with the criticism that Matt received, his first two years as a Cyclone were on a whole different level than Terrence's.

This is true -- Matt did more on better teams.

But glass half-full here. He's the last guy we had to really make a huge leap.

I learned at work there aren't just the half-full or half-empty options of optimists and pessimists, but there are four types. To the first two we add victim = those who wonder "Who has been drinking out of my glass?!" and the 6 Sigma types who think you have twice as much glass infrastructure than you need for the amount of liquid you are holding!
