Wondering if it's possible to use Google forms/sheets for an online raffle. It's for middle schoolers, not using real money, and entries would be put in by teachers who are comfortable using most Google suite tools but are very anti-anythingthattakestime. A teacher came to me about this because they know that I like learning new and random tech things, but I'm struggling with this.

Looking to get a form similar to this...

To result in something like this...

Instead of what is currently does, which is this...

Disclaimer: I understand that it's not hard to just copy and paste a name as many times as necessary, and I tried explaining that to her, but she was adamant that the names are automatically displayed to reflect how many entries were purchased.

I suck at spreadsheets but if Johnny Example bought 9 tickets why would you want 9 entries stating he bought 9 tickets?
That looks like 9 separate transactions of 9 tickets resulting in 81 tickets being sold.

I should get my wife to do this. A bi-weekly 50/50 raffle would bring a couple hundred dollars of pocket change home each month.

And these kids are the ones with the extra money anyhow.

I probably should have been more clear. Column C is unnecessary. What she really wants is to randomly select winners from Column B. So Column B needs to reflect the amount of entries that have been "purchased" and not just the name of the person who purchased said entries.

...if only it was real money.

Unless there's some sort of element on Google Forms, like a table, where you can dynamically add rows, what you've shown there would require either somebody copying and pasting stuff on the spreadsheet, or for every ticket somebody buys, entering in their name again on the form.

I guess I don't know for sure, but I doubt Google Forms is gonna give you the option to add logic saying "Hey, when I check this box with the number 9, that means create 9 rows in the spreadsheet with this info"
