I just want to know if others experience this as well...
So, I'm driving home today, I reach an intersection where a driver was in the left turn lane but obviously figured out that they needed to go straight. They were halfway between the lanes and I notice they have a red licence plate frame and I assume it's an Iowa State fan and figure that I should cut them a break because I've made mistakes in driving. I wait though two cycles of the light because they are not close enough to trip the sensor (southbound gets green twice, northbound, my lane, stays red). Then I notice that the frame is for the Huskers and suddenly I'm not as forgiving. :realmad:

Funny! Several times I've found myself ready to curse a fellow driver and then I've realized they have Cyclone plates and I cut them a break!

Definitely. If I get cut off by someone with ISU plates I always let it slide. If someone has hawk plates I try to make their life hell.

When someone with cyclone plates is improperly using the left passing lane I say in my head "come on, you're a cyclone fan, you should know better".

I am guilty of this... I also was guilty of the following.

We went to Disneyworld this past October and my wife and I sit down after boarding the plane and a Hawkeye sits down infront of us (We live in San Angelo, Texas I was shocked to see him). Lets just say planes that fly out of a regional airport in San Angelo, Texas are a bit jenky. I lean over to my wife and say "well at least if it crashes one of them is going down with us" with a chuckle. Guy turns around, "Funny, I was actually thinking the same thing when I saw your hat."

The four of us hang out a lot down here.
