- QB Shawn Robinson to have season-ending surgery, possibly dating back to the injury he suffered late in our game. Being replaced by Michael Collins, who went in this weekend against OU. Collins didn't look too bad, considering the circumstances -- led a few scoring drives.
- WR Turpin was arrested last night and is being held for assault. Appears to be accused of being violent with a long-term girlfriend.
Collins wasn't terrible. Looks to be a better passer than Robinson (small sample size). Turpin is a big one. They're not that dynamic anyway, but he's the biggest playmaker on their team.
Turpin completely changes special teams.
If true, that Turpin kid just screwed himself for the draft too. He's a legit NFL talent but I think in this day and age, teams want nothing to do with domestic violence. In the grand scheme of things, that's not the most important factor and didn't mean it that way, just posting about the sports side of it. I hope the girl is ok and this kid gets some help to change his life.

Hell, Tyreek Hill is the darling of the NFL right now and he tried to kill his pregnant girlfriend and unborn child when he was at Okie State. He just spent a year West Alabama and everything was forgotten. He dropped to the 5th round and lost a lot of money though.f
Turpin will lose some draft stock, but I doubt he will do anything worse than Hill. He'll lose some money on his rookie deal but if he's good enough, he'll get a decent second deal.
Even just the 2nd half, knowing what we do about Purdy. Or just a decent drive on ISU's 2nd to last possession doesn't give TCU the short field and a chance in OT.

Even if he didn't law enforcement didn't know where to find him for the last 3+ months? It isn't like he is on TV with his location clearly posted pretty much every Saturday.
