TCU and Baylor both in CFB Playoffs?

Just curious. With Miss St. out and TCU most likely in at this point, I could see Baylor getting in. Ohio State is starting a 3rd string QB (not really sure how good he is) for the first time in the B1G 'ship game. Possible oppurtunities if FSU/Oregon loses.

Now, Baylor still has K-State left, but if they win, we could see 1/5th of the Big12 in the CFB Playoffs.

There would have to be 2 upsets in the Conference championships for this to even be a possibility.
In a perfect world, Ohio State loses to Minny and FSU loses to GT. From there, I could see the playoffs being Bama, Oregon, TCU and Baylor. That would mean all one loss teams make it, minus FSU who I think the committee is just begging for them to get beat so they can drop them from the top 4.

Or we beat TCU and Missouri wins, so both Baylor and Ohio State get in.

It's Ohio state vs Wisconsin but even if both those teams lose I don't think 2 big 12 teams are getting in. Not sure who would though

I don't think Bama is losing so that's out. However, I could see any of the rest of those losing. OU has already lost to UA, FSU just isn't that good and OSU has Cordale "Ain't Play School" Jones starting. I don't see how in the hell they put TCU in over Baylor either. I actually don't think that will happen if Baylor beats KSU.

Oh yeah.. Not sure why I thought Minnesota was in.
But yeah, I agree I don't think 2 Big 12 teams get in, however, I do think there is a very slight possibility if that scenario plays out. And by slight possibility, I mean 2% chance.

I agree. Assuming Baylor beats KSU, I think Baylor gets in over TCU. Not only would Baylor be the Big 12 champions but they also beat TCU head to head. That alone should trump anything TCU has done, including beating Minnesota in non-conf. I think Baylor's win over KSU would spring them ahead of TCU.

If TCU and Baylor win plus two of Oregon, FSU, or Ohio St. lose they have a high chance of both getting in, otherwise it seems pretty unlikely. If Alabama loses they will likely find a way to take a 2 loss SEC team, which one I have no idea.

I'm not sure it's as slight as you think. Wisconsin is favored over Ohio State so let's assume the Badgers win. Now you basically have five teams for four slots. If Oregon or Florida State also lose, and TCU and Baylor both win, you just got two Big 12 teams in the playoff.

There is a decent shot that Wisconsin beats Ohio State and Georgia Tech beats Florida State, and an outside shot at Arizona beating Oregon too. So it's not that far-fetched.

If OSU and FSU both lose, who does take the 4th spot in front of Baylor?
The only other 1 loss team would be FSU, who would have just lost. Would the committee take a 2 loss team in front of a 1 loss Baylor? Looking at last weeks CFB rankings, it almost seems obvious that TCU and Baylor both make it.

Yeah, the more I look at it and think about it, it isn't as far fetched as I once thought.
I could definitely see GT beating FSU, plus OSU is down to their 3rd? string QB.
A lot more will be clear when the new rankings come out tomorrow and we can see where they put everybody.

I think this is what needs to be done to get two Big 12 teams in. Arizona will probably be sitting around 8th on Tuesday night and if they beat Oregon, I would not be surprised if they pass one of the Big 12 teams to get in even though they have two losses.

All I know is, regardless of what happens between Baylor and K-state, TCU wants to make a statement. There will be no mercy shown and given the chance (and a lack of response from our guys) they will run the score up as far as they can take it.

I wonder how far FSU would drop if they lose to GT. I think it is kind of baffling that they are an undefeated P5 school and are currently sitting third in the playoff rankings. It is not liked they came from no where either as they were the preseason #1 team.
