I understand not wanting to start incorrect rumors....but that's why I frequent this site. If I want to wait until a press conference is announced, I'll read the news at cyclones.com or the DM register. I think this site was better when it was all about the breaking news and recruiting info. Anyone with me?

I agree and also disagree. I love sharing info with absolutely no benefit to myself but I also have to be somewhat careful or I wouldn't have sources or connections for very long.
Regarding Taylor, I wanted to make it known that I'm working on the rumors to either confirm or squash them but I also didn't want to give specifics since we are dealing with a human being. That said, I'll promise to keep pushing for confirmation so I can let everybody know what is or isn't going on.

Too many times when bad news comes out, people shoot the messenger.
If you don't like the message, don't read it. I'd venture to guess that the majority of members appreciate the info Jeremy shares with it. He makes it clear when he has facts or is still waiting to verify certain things. I have no issue with that.
As I said last week, sadly the actions of a few members that don't agree with information being shared on a free site are dictating what is/isn't shared.
Almost every single thread in this site's history, that provided information prior to it being released publicly - had to be locked due to what I just noted above.
What a shame.
Jeremy doesn't profit from this site. He created it and maintains it because he's an avid Cyclone fan and wanted to have another place for fellow Cyclone fans to discuss ISU athletics and receive information. I can only wonder just how long one person can tolerate having the free information he shares - sometimes spending hours to collect and verify it - tossed back in his face.

I hear you ISUFan. I truly do. But, you appear to be fighting a ghost again. What about this thread has led you to make another post defending Jeremy and possibly other insiders?
If he was indeed arrested, isn't that public information? Shouldn't there be a website that should be able to confirm or deny this?

Well, depends on when it happened. Plus, I'm not sure how fast that stuff is updated. Was the arrest from February on a website? I can't recall.
I don't remember this for sure, but didn't the news of that arrest come out very quickly? As I recall the incident itself was in February but the arrest didn't come until after the season. When that occurred the news broke right away. At least that is how I recall that incident going down.

The thing I dont like, is when someone says "I heard a rumor about XYZ Shooting-Guard. It could be big; Im trying to confirm it." If you are gonna go as far as to say that, just say the rumor.

If he did do it: then we really don't need a person with his behavior off the court on the team
If he did not do it: then of course i hope he is one of our leaders for the team next year.
