Last Friday I had to cut my Moustache March short unfortunately as I shaved for an interview. Well, not only did I get the internship position but the next morning I was sitting third row with my girlfriend in the student section as we waited for the win against Oklahoma State. We then won the next three including the tourney today!! I plan on not shaving until deep in April. Anyone else have some superstitions to follow now?

Go State!

I had some, but they didn't hold. My wife went on a girls trip over the last couple days and had some left over beer. I came home from work to watch the 2nd half vs KU and all we had was Bud Light Lime (usually I am Bush Light). I of course drank it and the game turned out awesome. Tonight I left work at 7pm, stopped at Hy V and picked up a 6-pack of Bud Light Lime. This game turned out more than awesome. I will be ready for the NCAA tourney.

Lol! With 2 minutes left in the first half I went into my room and changed into the clothes I wore yesterday.

I have never had a beard in my life. Started in November. ISU starts 14-0.

December rolls around - time to trim. Start losing games.

I haven't done any trimming in several weeks. ISU is playing very well. This morning I did a minor trim, only the smallest amount necessary. We see how that affected the first part of the game.

Just got done explaining to my wife that I can't trim at all until early April. She's not seeing the connection - I might need some help from Fred on this one. :spinny:

It's weird, but at home I sit on the same side of the couch with the footrest up, right leg crossed over the left, arms crossed with hands under my armpits. It's what I do, don't make fun of me. I also knock on wood... a lot.

Turned down the volume on my TV and listened to Walters & Heft during the Kansas game. ISU won.
Did the same thing tonight for the Baylor game. Same results.

I've got a certain work outfit that is undefeated. It worked for Texas in Hilton, OSU twice, and KU in the tourney. I didn't wear it for the BU or KSU games to end the season. Gonna have to stay on top of laundry for a while.

Then while the game is on, I've got three different places I'll sit - first is in the corner of our couch which is aligned with the center of the TV. If the mojo is bad there, I'll move to the other side of the sectional. If that doesn't start a run within a couple minutes I move to the floor. Once we start moving again, I'm back in the first spot. The system has worked pretty well for me. But it's still not as effective as the work outfit.

My dog 'Ty', I must pet him when its close. Either its just therapeutic for me or just good karma, "God wills it."

Ahhhhh yes! Totally did that for the first round last year vs Oklahoma. Unfortunately we had to put Buddy down back in January, his age caught up to his young spirit.

But man, we have some dedicated fans! And I am not just talking about those who drove down and filled Hilton South religiously, we have some real couch warriors. I must admit that nothing said of us Cyclones and our teams can compete with moments like that when Ejim said we are some of the best fans in the nation.

Cyclone til I die.. No, make that Cyclone forever.

I wrote MAGIC! on this sign when we were down 16 against Oklahoma State. Didn't touch it until we got to KC. Haven't erased it but rather only marked over it. (Marker erases really easy it turns out. You can damn well bet that it's coming with us to NCAAs!

That will need some protection as if your life depended on it. Perhaps a protective coat..

Me 4, plus the dogs must at least start the game in the same place.

I also sit on the crack between the left and center cushion of the couch. Have my computer to my left, box score in the first tab, CF in the second. Coors Light first half, Guinness Second.

Pretty normal.

Made husband stand in the kitchen the second half of the Baylor game (had to stay there the whole KU game)...It worked. Going to be in Vegas the start of the Tourney, he said "No kitchens there where am I going to watch the game" told him I would find one somewhere...
