Cyclone commits Adrian Meza (132) and Daniel Herrera (285) competing at the Super 32 tournament this weekend. 132 is absolutely loaded with the top 3 guys all being former World team members. 285 has a bunch of pretty equally ranked guys at the top who have all beaten each other. For what it's worth, this Flo writer picks Herrera.

Meza has Bo Basset next round. Basset was a World champ a couple years ago as like a 7th or 8th grader. Was much smaller then and not quite the generational talent that it seemed he would be but still very, very tough.

Meza beat Swensen 5-1 in R16, Willie has him #15 nationally.

Yes, I think beating a top #15 National kid and being the only kid not ranked to make quarters would qualify as a good day for a freshman. Only 106-132 have competed.

Herrera gets a late takedown with 40 seconds left to win and he's off to the finals

Herrera wins semi 4-2 wearing Schon’s CRTC singlet.

Got pushed around for most of the first 5 minutes of the match but hit a great shot and then buried him on the mat to close it out.

Flo had the kid #6, MatScouts had him #10. Both had him above Herrera.

Iowa has 2 kids place at S32. Both kids are on by way of other states just in the past couple months. Zero actual Iowa kids place and Pennsylvania is incredibly good at wrestling.
