Just spoke with my brother, who plays WR at Grandview, and he said they had a 7 on 7 scrimmage with ISU tonight, and they ended up tying. He stated that Arnaud had 3 picks. Grandview also picked up Wallace Franklin after he was kicked off ISU's squad, and my brother said he was catching a lot of heat from his former teamates, but it was all in good fun. My brother said the routes that ISU were running were amazing, and he couldn't wait to see them with a full squad on the field.

Thats the only thing that scares me. AA did throw a couple in the spring game. He was pretty accurate last year, with a good TD/int ratio. But a new offense can take a while to perfect.

Yeah, Austen looked like **** last year in the spring game and he didn't look great this year.

No reason to be worried. He's certainly the best QB on this team and should be even better this fall.

They tied? You'd think we could at least out athlete them. Really worries me about our secondary.

I can forgive Austen's picks. He seems more and more like a "gameday" guy than a practice guy after the last two spring games. Every pick should be a learning experience.

It's just passing stuff. I'm pretty sure our lines/run game would dominate them - plus I'm confident our guys weren't taking it too serious.

Oh yeah... I went there! I dont have any Georgia highlights, tho. Lets just hope my internet connection clears up in the next month or so.

I didn't ever get pick 6'd by you. We won't discuss my special teams (or lack thereof) however. :skeptical:

Picks in a 7 on 7 passing drill where you throw a ton of passes and the defense always knows it is a pass are nothing like picks in an actual game though. No worries.

just an Idea about how much the 7 on 7 passing scimages mean. I went to A-P and my senior year we went to a passing competition and won the whole thing. All the other teams were pissed off because we shouldn't be able to win. Back then we threw about 4 times a game, I played receiver and had 3 balls thrown to me my entire senior season, didn't help I have no hands, but still. These competitions are a lot like backyard flag football. I am sure it is used primarily for route and timing practice. AA will be fine, it is good they are doing these type of things!

robinson,bo williams, and jertimiah schwartz will be a big part of our offense next year.if austen, fails, we have joe tiller, and even money reynolds that are next in line to play qb.i am not worrying!!!!!!!!!!

Was that last year? We had a great passing team but lost to AP twice at Wartburg... somehow out of 20 teams that went to that camp we played them twice and lost both like 49-41 and 45-40... it was rough.:laugh:

Did he say who the best WR was for ISU? :-)
