I have a very broad question for you out there w experience in cutting the cord. Is there an obvious choice between YouTube TV, Hulu or Philo?

Side note: my independent subscriptions for ESPN+ ($110 annually) and Disney+ ($140 annually both expire/auto renew within 2 weeks of each other Dec 27 & Jan 11.

I obviously thought a bundle of those 2 with Hulu would be the way to go; however it appears that is still really pricey. I was thinking of keeping those two independent and going w YouTube tv due to the channels that are desired and overall cost.

Channels or family of channels of interest are Nick Jr, Fox sports family, ESPN family and we have a few others.

It was so much easier to watch tv when my father asked me to change the channel and I would stand up and rotate the dial to the next channel…..

YTTV is the best by a stretch IMO. Simple things like customizing the channel order so only the ones you watch are at the top of the guide and DVR just saying iowa state and it records every game.

I think Hulu and YTTV are pretty comparable. I went with Hulu because YTTV doesn't (or didn't at the time) carry the History Channel, which I couldn't live without. But Hulu doesn't carry AMC, which is a good movie channel, and YTTV does, so it kind of sucks not having that. Other than that I've used them both and they're pretty similar.

I am currently in a similar position but considering switching off of YTTV and onto Fubo, mainly because Fubo seems to be the only option that offers regional sports networks (Here in Portland it’s Root Sports, which is the only way to watch Blazer games. I believe the same applies with Bally Sports North in Mpls or Marquee in Chicago).

Anyone have experience with both YTTV and Fubo? Also important in consideration is the ability to share with family members in separate households and have multiple screens.

Just switched to Hulu and definitely don’t like the navigation as well, but by doing that and ditching my Disney bundle, I was able to save a little while also getting AMC+
 
Our son has YouTubeTV and shared it with us for awhile to try it out. We ended up getting our own account since we live in a different state.
 
I pay about $90/mo for Hulu TV, all the streaming that Hulu has, ESPN+ and Disney. Four months a year I pay $10/mo for Redzone Channel.

I will give youtubetv a look next year only due to the fact that I plan to buy NFL Sunday ticket so I will see if it benefits me at all to switch to YouTube.

but other than that I’m happy with Hulu. So glad to be done with **** companies like Mediacom.

Sunday ticket is pretty great on YouTubeTV, there were crazy good deals over the summer, special student rates and also the price went down as the season has gone on

Well, I’ve also added a NextGen TV box with the expectation of considering an OTA option in addition to a few isolated apps.

However the consistency of the OTA is crappy at best. I need to spend some time researching if it’s the result of my antenna or delivery box…?
