On the positive side, we were playing well enough to lead a top 15 team by 21. Just lost our focus and got loose with it, and you can’t let a talented, well coached team to get that momentum back.

I figured there would be some hiccups with so many new faces trying to blend together. Now we know what we need to work on.

Respectfully, that’s not a top 15 team when 2 of their best players were sitting out. And yes, I understand we are also down 1 ‘starter’ but the production comparison isn’t close.

Ward affects a whole lot of things that don’t show up in the stats. At any rate, I think A&M is a good enough program to play at a high level anyway. We were good enough to beat them, but didn’t.
