Two things:
1. The Sooners are coming off (what is for them, at least) an embarrassing loss.
2. The Cyclones' offensive line is still a work in progress.
I like the optimism of the majority of the pickers, but I'm not quite ready to agree with them. And of course, I hope I'm dead wrong.

No kidding, I didn't find 2015 against Oklahoma but here is 2016. Most picked the Clones to cover the 21 point spread, but only because Oklahoma was missing a bunch of players including Joe Mixon.

Like with every PGA golf tournament, this is "separation Saturday" for the B12. And this is clearly the game of the day.
ISU has to rattle young Spencer. If they do that with their strong pass rush against OU's weak-tackles-line, Hall and Purdy will have scored enough points to bring home a Cyclone victory.
It's really on the defense. I see ISU winning this one 35-31.

From the perspective of being an ISU fan and what it traditionally has meant when we play OU, I get why there is some pessimistic sentiment about the outcome of this game.
HOWEVER
I believe if the ISU team that came out of the tunnel in Ft Worth last Saturday is the same one we see come out tomorrow night, ISU is going to win going away. This is not your fathers Sooner team, nor even the Sooner team of your later adolescence. I think OU is pedestrian this year and at the least in a bit of a rebuild. Very important to note that the Red River Shootout is next week for the Sooners. Rattler will be rattled in his first collegiate start in a hostile environment. I think our D line will get pressure with 3 for a lot of the evening. Brock will continue to steadily improve and their defense is sieve-like. I would go so bold as to say ISU wins by multiple scores:
