Spring game uniforms

Not that it really matters but I don't beleive the team will be wearing game day uniforms for the spring game. It also has the appearance that the entire uniform is getting replaced. Especially home jersey and all pants.

Here is how I came to this. First I think the team got to keep thier jerseys from bowl game, however I can not confirm this. Which means the home jersey's would not be here yet. Also it looks like they are now wearing game day pants as practice pants now. Observation from pictures.

To my knowledge those are not the game pants, just replica practice ones.

I wouldn't be surprised if we got a new uniform type (i.e. the Nike Pro Combat system).

But the style/look will remain the same as we have now. It will remain that way for a long, long, long time. You can quote me on that...If I'm wrong, take away my CF privileges

For the spring game they will more than likely wear their practice uniforms which consist of a red or white top depending on offense or defense red practice pants and helmets which won't have logo's on them.

I would think that game-worn uni's would have to get pretty torn up throughout the course of a full season. It would make sense to me to rotate last year's uni's to this year's practice and so on. But what do I know? Not much, some would say.

They use the same practice jerseys all four years in most cases.

I like that Iowa State returned to their original "cardinal and gold." Why did they ever switch to "red" as opposed to "cardinal?" Another question...do all the athletic teams at ISU wear cardinal and gold now?

Some of them bump too close to the crimson or maroon shade, but most of that is blamed on Nike's (or whichever outfitter's) color palette, not to ISU's ineptitude...

They did last year, except no helmet logos, and the QBs wore black.
