Spring Game Attendance

definitely should be bigger than previous years, new staff and excitement for a coach who LOVES Iowa State and especially since it's VEISHEA weekend rather than the week before or after like in the past. Lot of out of towners in Ames and I really hope all get out to see the sneak peek of the Cyclones.
I'm so proud, but hopefully your tolerance level will be high enough by the fall that you do make it into JTS to see some exciting Cyclone games.
Oh I'll make into the games in the fall. The spring game is bad for me because after I watch it I get to into the football mode and it is nearly impossible for me to live 4 months between it and the first game.... It's almost better if I don't attend.
I hear ya, we all have to live through those months without football...one day (beer) at a time...
Ive always wondered why they dont charge a small fee of say $5 to get into this?
Who wouldnt go because ISU demands 100 nickels to watch this? It would turn in to basically $25-35 thousand(depending on turn out).
Also considering the economic harships currently and the amount of season tickets that may be lost, it would at least make up for some of that number.

If some of that money would be used for bathroom usage when tailgating, I am all for it.
You think so? maybe your right, but I just don't see it. Your looking at 2 hours of entertainment for a football starved demographic for 5 bucks. Up that number to 15 or 20 and yeah, i see attendance take a severe hit.
I can't go to a movie for 5 bucks. I cant go have 3 or 4 beers at the neighborhood bar over 2 hour for 5 bucks. Well, they did have PBR cans for a dollar the other night so I take that back. :biglaugh:
The only way it could be a little pricey is if you took your wife and 3-4 kids.
