Sparkle paint on the helmets?

Looking at the rivals page, I noticed that in the pictures from the spring game the helmets look to have the metalic/shimmer paint on them again. (the did at the end of the McCarney era as well) I know how this board loves to discuss the uni's. Does anyone know the facts?
