The passengers on that flight were very lucky... the flight attendant said drinks are on the house!

I'm really hoping to be able to get down there to watch the last shuttle launch in June. Really want to see one of these in person. Catching it from a jet would be cool, but you'd need to be ridiculously lucky with the timing I suppose. Still, a fantastic view of something I think a lot of us just brush off nowadays. I mean, how crazy is it that we live in a day and age where space flight has apparently become a relatively commonplace activity? "A shuttle launch? Oh, ok. Whatever." Without even considering THAT WE'RE LAUNCHING PEOPLE INTO SPACE!

Wow. If only I could afford to somehow do that for the last launch in June...I'll be in virginia beach...
