MLB: Sox Sign Daryle Ward (and use worst starting lineup in majors tonight)

So, the Sox signed Daryle Ward to a minor league contract today because of all the injuries, but check out this killer starting lineup.

Nix 2B (---; .125 career hitter)
Fields 3B (.265, .238 career hitter)
Quentin LF (.256)
Konerko DH (.314)
Betemit 1B (.292, .238 against LHP career)
Miller C (.267, .180 career hitter)
Podsednik RF (.250)
Ramirez SS (.195)
Lillibridge CF (.143, .180 career hitter)

Carlos Zambrano (.239 career hitter) would hit 5th for this team. I mean, it's seriously godawful. We bench our best hitter in Getz for no reason. We bench Thome, a guy who hits Matt Harrison well enough, because he hits left handed. We start Pods in right ******* field, despite the fact he's a left fielder and Quentin played right his whole career before getting to the Sox. We have three guys that are career hitters of .180 or less.

It's on John Danks tonight, because he might have to throw a shutout to win.

43 HBP in his first pro season in 135 games.
29 HBP in 136 games the next year.
31 HBP in 85 games in AAA in 06.
