Don't know how true it is, but a healthy Pedro Martinez would very much be worth it. Who knows how healthy he is. As of right now, we could possibly go into '09 with three or four lefties, which may be too many.

Adding Lyon to the bullpen might make it the best in the AL. Jenks, Dotel, Linebrink, Thornton and Lyon....

he's running on E. Even healthy his shoulder is done. Too many innings early in his career. Doesn't have the movement or velocity anymore. he adds more value as a bench guy. Keeps the bench loose and mentors younger pitchers very well.

We'll stick the lefties (Poreda, Richard) with Buehrle and the righty (Marquez) with Pedro....sounds like a plan.
