Yeah, re-evaluating, I would agree. But Saint Mary wouldn't have been the same way.

I don't think so. Maybe it's the Big 12 homer in me, but I don't see any of the B12 teams losing first round.

I choose KSU for two vague historical tournament trends that seem to work OK for 8/9 & 7/10 decisions ... second one is completely nonsensical/irrelevant, but --- what the heck! :yes:

1. If 8 is power-6 and 9 is "mid-major," pick the power-6.

2. Don't pick a school that starts w/ same letter as the probably opponent in the next round matchup. In this case, Syracuse-So. Miss.

I'm sure someone could do research and find "evidence" to refute both of those. I'm not going to do it, but I'd be curious — because those are based on informal mental notes over the years. :unsure:

LE's team was not playing very well down the stretch. Surprised they were seeded so high. K-State not a good match up for them.

Interesting match up- I'm curious if Larry's team is a punch you in the mouth type? If so, it could be an interesting game with two similar teams.
