I really thought your guys would get Nebraska again this year. I don't believe in moral victories and I think Iowa State is talented enough to have won the game on Saturday, but from what I gather it looks like you guys should definitely be proud of the way ISU fought back late in the game against the division leader. I think ISU will pick up a couple of wins to end the regular season.

I'm too depressed to even talk about the massive choke job my Utes pulled on Saturday.

What I really wanted to say is that I love the play call ISU made in overtime to try and win the game. It wasn't executed well enough that particular time, but I thought it was a great play and a great call and I would have made that same call a million times if I had the opportunity.

Thanks, I was also very disappointed in the Utes loss, after our game - I thought Utah was the best team I had seen in a long, long time. We have the right coach and he has a plan, I love the timing of his fakes - it shows he and his staffed are very well prepared to lead our program. Better days ahead.

With out expectations, there can be no disappointments. Paul Rhoads is establishing expectations in Ames, IA!

Don't get too down on yourself. Utah is gonna be in the Pac 10 and have a chance every year to "play with the big dogs" and more $$$. I mean you guys have done so much with very little, things can only get better right? I mean I understand how bad you guys wanted to win, and how much you really got stepped on, but the future is still bright.

Thank you for the kind words.

It was a rough day for the teams I root for this season. First Baylor lays an egg at OK-State, messing up the potential ISU v Baylor Big XII title game. Then ISU loses a heart-breaker to Nebraska, all but guaranteeing that game won't happen. The Utes get it handed to them, leaving TCU (another Texas team) in BCS title contention. And on top of that, the team playing Iowa (Indiana) blows a TD catch and loses, too. Only KU's massive comback against my second least favorite former Big XII coach's team (ironically, also my least favorite former Big XII coach's former team, too) broke the trend. Utes and Cyclones need to suck it up and get to work on the next game. There's still football games to be won. Go State!

Sorry to hear about the Ute's loss. I didn't get to see the game, but I sure didn't expect that result. Were they overmatched? Outcoached? Outmanned? Or is TCU just a bad matchup for Utah's squad? I thought and was hoping for a Utah-Oregon national championship game.

Buck up though, your program is in great shape and headed towards better things.
