I'm watching the TT SMU game but got to thinking about my fall slowpitch league. I'm thinking about nabbin up a Worth Mayhem 26 oz bat for around $150. Does anyone have any suggestions on 24-26 ounce bats in that price range with some pop? No lady jokes, I get it, I like lightweight bats.

I think mine is 34/26. It's super cheap, though. The nicer bats do make a big difference. I want to say -8 is the limit but that's just a hunch.

No. Im in a rec league at Raccoon and in Clive. Were not ranked or anything. Just want a good bat that's not a crappy Easton. I have an old Mayhem but it's out of gas.
Even most rec leagues still try to follow the rules and regulations of one of the national sanctioning organizations - usually either USSSA or ASA in my area. All USSSA governed leagues in my area will require that bats for all levels of play have an approved USSSA stamp for use next season.

DeMarini allows you to order all of their bats at 26 oz if you do it online, most stores only carry 28 or 30 oz models

There are a lot of 26 oz bats at scheels...was just there the other day. What kind of ball are u using? .52 or .44core? I'm guessing 52 so I would go with the new blue/white Brett Helmers Easton. I think its on sale for $250 but well worth the extra $100 imo.

I had a demarini baseball bat in H.S. and I really liked it. As other's have said spending extra money on a bat is in my opinion worth it. I always went for a light bat because I'm not very heavy and my game was more slap singles and drag bunts. It really depends on what type of hitter you are I guess.
