For many of us Clones, the past is built upon steps forward and steps past. In our most recent times, I would argue that Jared Barnett was one of our most treasured steps forward in helping the Clones to continue to take the next step. He still pursues honor before victory based on his time at ISU (and of course in part thanks to the role of his mother and father.)
It was our privilege to have his parents join us at our tailgates for a few games while Jared was at ISU. We still keep in touch online and given this, I wanted to share a video taken this week from the middle school that Jared went to and his father Duke is now an administrator in. They have started a new song for football, and we are winning the hearts with Cyclone echos.
Carry on.
