Simple A/V Question

Got a Vizio sound bar...works great but I need a little help. It plugs directly into the DirecTV receiver but the red/white cord is not very long and my current set-up requires a longer one.

Is there an extender of some sorts I can buy?

I have plenty of red/white cords around the house that are longer but this one has a black "input" end that goes into the sound bar on the other end.

Sorry for the rough description...just looking for some help!

Yeah, you can buy "female to male RCA cables". Just do a search on Amazon. I'd send you some links but I'm on my phone and wouldn't be very quick.

Yes there are extensions for the simple RCA connectors you're describing. You can get them at Best Buy, Radio Shack, and probably even WM or Target. There will be some loss of fidelity, but considering that it's Vizio you likely won't notice it.

I'm curious; is something like this what you're after? I'm not sure how long of an extension you need, but 25ft is probably overkill, and, as TX pointed out, would have greater fidelity loss than a shorter cable.
