2013-14: Started 12-0 with good wins vs. UM, IA, @BYU, UNI @ B4 Classic, a lot of hype into B12, start 2-0 then lose 3 of next 4, YIKES 3-4 record in B12 and go back to forums during that time period. Then we RELAXED and finished B-12 8-3 for 11-7 B12 record, Won the B12 Tourn, Made it to the Sweet 16. Yes we had the emotional side of losing Johnny that helped to some part.
Difference, new coach, started 11-1with quality wins vs. P5 teams CO, IA, VY, IL, Cincy, bad loss vs. UNI and we're at 1-2 in B12 and could've been 3-0 easily. CSP will take more control, we'll play better D, finish between 10-8 and 13-5 in B12 Conf and have chance at 3rd B12 Tourn. RPI, beating each other up in strongest MBB conf and Tourn will support something special in NCAA Tourn IMO.
