Should have just carried those pads, rookie

So they got him....so what. I find it all a bit disgusting. That money could have been donated to a good cause instead. What a waste!

ESPN Dallas said that each one of the players put up $1500 towards the bill because it was just a prank to teach him a lesson for not carrying the pads.

Wow. Hungry people in the world better not see this story.

"Poor form" on the part of the Cowboys here.

Homeless people better not see the house that Dez Bryant bought either. It is a huge house for a single guy. What a waste! Poor form on his part :jimlad:

Yeah, this is a pretty big non-issue for me. Rich people spend lots of money on stuff they probably don't need. So what. They also donate millions (sometimes billions) of dollars to worthy causes too.

FWIW, a guy making $8 million a year spending $50k is the equivalent of a guy making $100k spending about $650.

He's not actually making $8 mil a year though. His contract is $8.5 million guaranteed/5 years. At roughly $1.7 million a year, spending $54,000 on one meal would be analogous to someone making $50k a year spending $1600 on one meal, or $3100 for someone who earns $100k. Decent amount, if he would have paid it.

Did you guys do this math in your head? :wideeyed:
