Yeah, this is a pretty big non-issue for me. Rich people spend lots of money on stuff they probably don't need. So what. They also donate millions (sometimes billions) of dollars to worthy causes too.
FWIW, a guy making $8 million a year spending $50k is the equivalent of a guy making $100k spending about $650.
BS. Its their money, they have the right to do what they want with it.
He's not actually making $8 mil a year though. His contract is $8.5 million guaranteed/5 years. At roughly $1.7 million a year, spending $54,000 on one meal would be analogous to someone making $50k a year spending $1600 on one meal, or $3100 for someone who earns $100k. Decent amount, if he would have paid it.
