She-Ra reboot on Netflix

Netflix released season one of their She-Ra Princess of Power reboot today. I can't believe that I'm ten episodes in but I spent too much time watching her as a kid to not see this through.

Storytelling is quite a bit better this time around. Is anyone else interested and/or watching this series?

Definitely not going to tell my wife about this. We still need to catch up on House of Cards and Glow. If she catches wind of this, it's the only thing she'll want to watch.

Yes, she had a cartoon. Also a movie (according to Wikipedia, that was in 1985, so I would have been 12 at the time). I vaguely remember watching it in the theatres at Northpark Mall in Davenport.

Edit: I finished up the series this afternoon. That was a fun bit of nostalgia. Hopefully they do a follow-up season, this one was kind of fun.

I’ll give it a shot, I liked the old ones when I was a kid. However I somewhat agree with you on agenda in some of the shows lately. It’s fine to include issues organically, but some of the shows and movies as of late beat you over the head with it. It hurts the message at times.
