SEZ ticket selection question

Im a gold donor who typically just gets 4 seats in W. But we’ve considered switching to SEZ in the next couple years. Curious if anyone knows generally if that is difficult to do. Are the good seats already full during renewal or are there any decent open seats when seat selection happens?

Seat upgrades occur at the same time for all tickets. I have tried to upgrade for at least five years and get aisle seats, and have never been able to. So I assume the renewal rate in the SEZ is quite high.

We added two additional SEZ seats last year (2022 season) and received seats in Row 7. So I would say you can move to the SEZ, but will likely start with seats in the first ten rows or so. That was fine for us as we had to increase due to our son turning 3 and needing his own ticket. He still just sits on our lap and does not use the seat in Row 7.
