I dont know if anyone has posted this yet, if so we can merge.

According to Adam Schefter Seneca Wallace has been traded to Cleveland, No compensation as of yet. Should be interesting Wallace is back with Holmgren. Possible chance at starting maybe? That would be sweet.

Good for Seneca. He might get more PT in Cleveland. Then again, he has to live in Cleveland...

From what I have heard the Seahawks are interested in taking Tim Tebow in the upcoming draft. This move would support that rumor. Get the backup out of the way to make room for the incoming rookie.

Guess I haven't been payin attention to the Browns lately. Surprise, surpise.

Browns acquired QB Seneca Wallace from the Seahawks in exchange for a conditional pick in the 2011 NFL Draft.

The move, likely involving a late-round pick, reunites Wallace with Browns president and ex-Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren. It also paves the way for Derek Anderson's release. Wallace, 30 before the season, offers very little upside, but has shown the ability to at least keep a team competitive in spot starts. He holds a career completion rate of 59.9 and TD-to-INT ratio of 25:14. If training camp began today, he would compete with Brady Quinn to start.

They just signed Cribbs to a 3 years deal I think

yeah Cribbs is locked up.

I don't expect much out of Seneca, though, even if he does get the starting job. There just isn't enough talent in Cleveland to have very high hopes. They Cribbs and a decent left tackle in Joe Thomas, but that's about it on offense.

Not a big surprise, really - Holmgren has always been a big fan of Wallace and was grooming him to take over for Hasselbeck when he was done. Unfortunately, Holmgren left Seattle and Hasselbeck isn't done playing yet, so it kind of makes sense that he would go after Wallace.

Wallace will very likely get his shot in Cleveland.

Since Seneca is most likely not very familiar with Cleveland, I thought I would share this for his benefit....

Hey take it easy on Cleveland - it's a great football town, and like every other city, has numerous pricey suburbs with expensive homes where Seneca can live.

Cleveland does have some nice areas. Lakewood and Hudson are very exclusive. The problem is that you are never more than about 6 blocks away from urban decay. I've spent quite a bit of time there, and it's seriously depressing to see how many buildings just sit empty in that town.
