It was rare for a show to cast so many hilarious and memorable older people in the 90s.

Frank Costanza is as funny a character as there has ever been. All 4 parents and uncle Leo were perfect.
I read an interview with Jerry Stiller and apparently the original plan was for him to play Frank Costanza as a really meek and quiet weakling against his loud and bombastic wife Estelle. He knew pretty much immediately it wasn't going to work for him to play the character that way so he talked Larry David and Jerry to give him a shot to do it his way, and it took I think all of one scene for them to buy into his version of Frank. Such a great character.

I have a coworker who moved to Boca Raton FL and I insist on calling it Del Boca Vista in Frank voice.
