I want to hear the craziest, wackiest, weirdest and most wild Iowa State stories you guys know for a project I'll be working on with Connor Ferguson this summer. If you can remember general dates or when things happen, that would be preferred so that they can be more easily researched. I don't care if it is something off the field or court or some crazy game that you remember. I don't care when it happened or how long ago it was. I want to find a way to preserve some of the urban legends of Iowa State athletics.

Runaway float at Veishea in 2007 (i believe). Lost engine power just outside of Carver and instead of continuing on the parade path in front of the Memorial Union, they popped it into neutral and decided to push it down Union Drive towards Lake Laverne, where all of the food vendors were set up. Float started to runaway and people tried to stop it and a college kid got ran over by it (he was fine).
We had a viking funeral on Lake Laverne for my epileptic rabbit.

Veishea alone could provide enough of these stories.
Can’t find the pictures (and wouldn’t even be able to post them here). But during my freshman year Veishea (spring 2012) my friends and I were walking to a party, think it was a weekday. We walk past this house that had a lawn party, and we see a bunch of people cheering and making noise. Then we see a naked guy and a topless girl making out on the hood of a car in front of the house. Everything consensual wasn’t creepy or anything. There were for sure pictures that went around on the Internet of it.
Know it’s not athletics related but I remember that being a big “welcome to college” type moment and a great Veishea memory. Everyone just having a blast

Husband had someone run naked through a final exam save for a bear costume on their head. I'd have to ask him specifics on the class/year but probably around 2008.

During my meteorology class in Kildee Hall, a student ran through the auditorium wearing only underwear and socks. He was chased by someone dressed in a gorilla suit. That was around 2004 or 2005.
