has anyone heard any reports out of summer practice on him? with darks health in question we need him to step it up. The guy has a real chance to be something special for us:yes: Im just curious to know how he's been performing or if he's been been overshadowed by Money's play
 
Hes going to be special for us even if Darks is playing. Sedrick is probably our best deep pass threat on the team, hes tall, fast and has amazing hands..If this kid ads good muscle i can see him playing in the NFL

I saw those amazing hands drop his fair share of balls last year.

I certainly hope he has improved from last year in that regard.

I was going to say the same thing. He definitely has good speed and size but we have yet to see these amazing hands you are talking about.

I didn't see any problems with his hands, but I thought Sedrick had trouble adjusting to the ball when it was in the air. I think more muscle might help in that area. It seemed like the smallest little bump would throw him off his balance.

Yeah, Sed has great potential but he has definitely been overshadowed by the other receivers.
And remember, he was a 4 star recruit! Just goes to show........

I thought he had very soft hands. Now, his concentration at times might have been a different matter...:wink:

On the other hand, I think he'll know the routes this season, and not be distracted by not knowing the offense.
 
I thought I heard from somewhere (on here?) that Sed has worked hard in the off-season. If that's the case, he'll have a better season this year.

I don't know why everyone associates him with having great hands when he proved last year he didn't. Certainly can be improved on and I'd expect it to be better - but based on performance in '08, he does not have great hands.

Who has he been overshadowed by? He is expected to be our best WR this year and our coaches keep saying how special he can be..... so it does go to show how good a 4 star can be
 
He is definately more muscular, than he was last year. Meaning, his work ethic is there. Sed will be a very good receiver for us.

I'm not talking about this year that has not occurred yet. Im referring to last year. When Sumrall, Darks, etc indeed overshadowed Johnson.

BTW, I havent heard anyone talking about how special he is expected to be. But I believe you. I certainly hope he has a breakout season!
